The trailer for Knock Knock gives an interesting premise: a family man has two girls knock on his door and from there his "good deed" becomes his punishment. But the film has a slow talky first half, where the audience is more aware than the characters.
Then, when things amp up, I'm not emotionally invested with anyone to care.
