Review of Knock Knock (2015) by Lucas Y — 14 Dec 2015
Laughably bad a times. Personally I think Eli Roth is a hack. He's never impressed me. I'm fine with film lovers making films, but make it your own, like your mentor Tarantino does. This offered nothing new to the home invasion genre.
The 2 girls were boring and you never really get an explanation for their motives which was the only thing that really interested me about them. I'm shocked Keanu Reeves agreed to do this. One of the most bankable and likable actors of my generation who's always been picky with his roles.
Keanu, you're better than this. It just didn't fit him. Some cheesy one liners and not supposed to be funny, funny parts earn this 1-star. Not gonna lie, I died laughing when Keanu accidentally "liked" his FB video instead of deleting it.
He had plenty of opportunities to turn the table on those bitches though.
