Review of Knives of the Avenger (1966) by Stephen K — 13 Oct 2007
A surprisingly good viking revenge film from horror maestro, Mario Bava. So good, in fact, that I'd rank it as one of his best. This change in genre allows for new topics (specifically the balance between revenge and atonement) not normally explored by Bava.
Well worth a watch.
