Review of Knights of Badassdom (2014) by Jason L — 05 May 2014

Although it took ages to come to DVD, Joe Lynch's (and this is HIS film not the studio's) KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM is a fun and silly jaunt into the world of LARPING (Live action role playing). It takes the LARP section of 'Role Models' and adds a bit of low budget monster movie action into it with fairly amusing results.

Could it have been better? Yes. But When it comes down to it, the film is played for laughs and made me laugh A LOT. Peter Dinklage and Jimmi Simpson steal the film and the added bonus of a little eye candy in the shape of Summer Glau and Margarita Levieva is very welcome.

If only D & D had been this much fun when I used to play it...
