Review of Knights of Badassdom (2014) by Chelsea M — 09 Aug 2016

As a LARPer this movie excited me at first, it had the potential to be really fun - but instead of the "magic turns roleplaying game to real life badassery" that I was expecting, I got a "comdey B horror movie where demon kills everybody, a small group of unlikely heros save the day, and the rest doesnt matter", which really means that there wasn't much of a point for the LARP more than a background thing going on, and even the charcters seemed not to develop...

So I really enjoyed the bit of geekery I got to see, but overall disappionted at a lost oppertunity to sort of bring the fantasy to life - which is what LARPing is all about.
