Review of Knightriders (1981) by Grayson D — 07 Mar 2011
Weird biker drama set in a renaissance fair environment.
Sometimes it's close to actually make a point, but most of the time it's just tournaments with motorcycles.
To be that weird it is still quite funny here and there and watching anything with Ed Harris after this makes it impossible to take him seriously again.
There is fight for justice and for unjustice, for drugs, having a good time, money and even a embedded gay lovestory.
Parts of the biker/middle age works, other parts are just a mess.
Some people call this the true epic of Arthur as it should be told, others call this just a abad trip. I'm somwhere inbetween.
