Review of Knight Rider 2010 (1994) by Jack Y — 11 Jul 2007
Very different take on the Knight Rider concept, with an actual spirit haunting the car, which brings it closer to My Mother the Car. In this case, perhaps better titled My Girlfriend the Car. Post-apocalyptic setting gloomy but effective, as is the idea of Mexico being a utopia for American refugees living in Mad Max-style quarters.
Not Knight Rider at all then. Tolerable as a movie on its own but only just.
