Effectively and joyously ridiculous. Cruise plays the unflappably cool spy with aplomb. Diaz plays the the girl caught in his wake with verve and humor. Amazingly, they make this ridiculous, delirious movie work.
The CGI bulls, on the other hand; if you can't do it well, cut it out. They were obviously no threat to the actors but they did serious damage to the movie.
