Knight and Day is yet another big-name cookie-cutter actioner that was destined for critical scorn. Formulaic to the core, Cruise gives a valiant t effort to add something more here and rise above the nonsense, but his on screen side-kick Cameron Diaz keeps bringing him down.

I am not sure that I can think of a single movie of hers I have cared for, with the exception of maybe Gangs of New York. But that was to spite her (Daniel Day Lewis anyone?). Alas, this is a review of Knight and Day not the career of Cameron Diaz.

Let me save you some time... like, two hours of your life - avoid this train wreck.
