Review of Knight and Day (2010) by Mohamed A — 12 Jul 2012
I enjoyed quite a lot mainly because of the performances of Cruise and Diaz and the chemistry between them. It isn't clear if the filmmakers wanted this to be a parody of the Mission Impossible & Bourne type movies or an addition to the genre.
The plot is far fetched to say the least. Cruise plays an FBI agent who appears to have gone rogue. He bumps into Diaz at an airport and after that they keep ending up together as he is responsible for a mounting body count.
The comic lines are very cheesy and the film is a bit too long but I found that by leaving the film wash over me and not analysing it too much I enjoyed it.
