Review of Knight and Day (2010) by Nathan H — 10 Aug 2012
An action-comedy in the truest sense of the word. All of the violence is non-graphic and played completely for laughs. Some hardcore action fans may not appreciate it, but I accept it for what it is. The plot is not very original, and the film drags toward the middle, but this type of movie is about the actors, and they both do a good job.
Tom Cruise is playing basically the same character he always plays, but the situation he's placed in generates quite a few laughs. Cameron Diaz, on the other hand, gets laughs from the typical fish out of water role.
It will never be considered a classic, but if you are looking to just have some fun, it's worth a couple of hours of your time. I still don't understand the title though.
