Jane Fonda won her first Oscar for this movie about a prostitute who gets caught up in a disappearance investigation in which Donald Sutherland investigates. Sutherland investigates Fonda to help find a friend of his who may or may not have been one of her johns.
Jane Fonda is Bree Daniels, showcasing her talents completely in this film.
