I loved this little masterpiece. A stylish 1970s noir movie set in the seedy underbelly of early 1970s New York. The low key plot revolves around a private detective sent to investigate the disappearance of a man. His path crosses that of a call girl and others on the drug/sex scene. Whilst many lesser films of the American "New Wave" have gone on to be "cult classics", the lack of hype associated with "Klute" is quite undeserving. Watch it!
