Alan J. Pakula's Klute is the first part of his paranoia trilogy and it's not that great as many says it is. It's the story about the Manhattan prostitute, Bree Daniels (Jane Fonda) who might be connected to a murder case for a murder that happened in the New York underground in her environment.

And a detective named John Klute is set to investigate this case. But he might get to involved, if you know what I mean. First of all, Klute is not a good title at all, because Jane Fonda's character is the main character.

I didn't think was a so good performance by Jane Fonda, I though it was over the top, and not that believable, not Oscar material. The whole movie is kind of slow, but the plot is though kind of interesting, so I give it a marginal thumbs up.
