Review of Kites (2010) by Jazz ? — 22 May 2010
Promos were bad and movie is bad as well. Kites is supposed to be a romantic thriller but there is neither the right dose of romance nor any thrill. Movie is about True Love and lovers committing suicide..how romantic lol!!!!Is it necessary for lovers to die in a love story ? I doubt Hrithik's style and charisma works only with his FATHER.Yes Hrithik is handsome and awesome dancer and has dominating presence on the screen, and of course Barbara Mori is sexy and seductive, but they are completely wasted in the movie, and talent like Kangana Ranaut is also wasted. Music is bad, action scenes were not that good.........
I would have given just 1 if it's no barbari mori in the movie...I am giving two for her. I loved her in the movie..I loved her saying MAIN ULLI KI PATTHI HUN. So final word, Can this Kite fly? I don't think it can fly. It's not even an average movie. Disappointing movie overall.
