Even Samuel L. Jackson can't save this dull action/drama film from being a flop. Kite was supposed to be a fast-paced violent action revenge film in which it was a violent one, but poorly paced and scripted that made me yawn during the movie several times.

There are lots of bloody kills and GORY deaths but not gleefully enough to reach the level of such films like Kick-Ass and Hobo With A Shotgun in which its elements are similar to. The performance here was by far the best thing in the movie but nothing remarkable or anything.

Overall, there's still some violent FUN in couple of scenes to enjoy plus the film does have lots of potential of being a emotionally drama and action-packed film but unfortunately in the end, it failed to successfully be either of them.

And the fact that it's trying to equally gives the importance in its action and dramatic story even makes the film even duller than it already is [C-].
