Watched this as part of our weekly family movie night and it was great light entertainment. Acting was good and the storyline, while nothing spectacular, made for an entertaining movie. The depression-era, while certainly rosier than historical reality, gave an interesting feel to the movie.
Plus the story leaves you feeling good at the end. Great movie for those with young or pre-teen girls.
