Review of Kiss the Girls (1997) by Cris L — 16 Jun 2008
Though it's based on James Patterson's novel,it's rather similar to other serial killer movies...maybe I've seen too many of them...Because Morgan Freeman played both in Kiss the Girls and Seven,it's hard not to compare the two movies and- unfortunately for this one- Seven it's,of course,way better.
Anyway,it keeps you on the edge of your seat if you watch it for the first time,though you kind of expect that ending(James Patterson's style) but when you watch it more than once it's not that impressive anymore.
Judd and Freeman are equally good, there's an interesting interaction between them.Not a bad movie but-like The Bone Collector- it lacks something that would turn it into a great one,I don't know,maybe a really strong climax or at least some more plausibility.
