This very European-feel, sprawling, martial arts actioner pulls out practically every cliche in the book to win you over - the foaming-at-the-mouth corrupt cop, the doofus henchmen, the hooker-with-the-heart-of-gold and many more.
However it is Jet Li and only Jet Li that lifts this movie above the mediocre subject matter. Fight-scenes are not well-shot and Bridget Fonda is almost unwatchable.
