A laugh out loud confusing thrill ride involving a private eye, a struggling actress, and a new York thief who ends up posing as an actor in Hollywood. This black comedy is hilarious, with Kilmer excellent as gay Perry.
The chemistry he shares with Downey Jr is excellent. Their contrasting personalities really make this movie fun. The plot is somewhat confusing but the humor and performances make up for it.
