So hip, so tongue-in-cheek, so cool...

Yeah, right.

This movie is so 'ironically' proud of itself it's a bit sickening.

Ya don't really expect much from a 'campy-murder mystery' as far as story goes, but this is just a horrible plot. It's full of goofy dialogue. The purposely weak storyline forces the three characters to do the heavy lifting, which they do a pretty good job at (Michelle Monaghan in particular). They do 'just enough' to keep the movie interesting, though not without being freaking annoying at times (Robert Downey Jr in particular).

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is good if...

Lame is cool.

Stupid is clever.

Pretentious is unpretentious.
