Too many elements that I'm a sucker for for me NOT to love this--over-blown pulp drama? Check. Old-school mystery novels? Check. Robert Downey Jr.? Check. Crazy L.A. parties with naked people in cages? Check and double-check.
If you like your mystery movies serious, steer clear of this one.
