Review of Kinsey (2004) by Actually B — 17 Aug 2007
If you are not scared of thinking about sex this movie is an excellent historic portrayal of the scientific drama that allowed us to look at sex without enforced moralism. If you are scared of thinking or talking about sex then perhaps you should watch this movie anyway; it's a great drama and the puritanical hatred of science (and sex) has been echoed in the years of this movies production and release and there is no doubt what led to the movie even being produced at all.
True story, excellent acting and most of all a worthy subject matter.
