Review of Kinsey (2004) by Will G — 05 Oct 2007
For all his attempts to tell a balanced story of Alfred Kinsey, the scientist interested in documenting sex, director Bill Condon (Chicago, Memoirs of a Geisha) has not quite made a good film. It's really more prurient than anything else, dancing along the line of appropriateness, showing a bit too much, never quite allowing us to understand this conflicted man.
As a result, it's not bound to be an edifying experience for many at all.
