Review of Kinsey (2004) by Cody G — 05 Apr 2008
I really liked this movie. I think it's impossible to watch it and not be a little uncomfortable... I think there's kind of a problem if you're totally comfortable with the movie. I think in some ways it's very biased in terms of content, but I guess that didn't bother me too much either.
Anyway... let's see... the cast was exciting. Clearly, Liam Neeson is amazing, and his role could be so twisted and strange, but he managed to keep him kind of gentle and grounded and lovable despite talking about nothing but sex for over two hours.
Laura Linney was also impressive, just because usually I think she's the exact same character no matter what and she was very different in this. Peter Saarsgard was also very good. He was probably my favorite.
I always talk so much more about actors than anything else. Ah well.
