Review of Kinky Boots (2005) by Max P — 04 Feb 2008
A film with it's heart in the right place but unfortunately it is little more than mediocre. Chiwetal Ejiofor is a hoot as Lola, and it's lovely to see Joel Edgerton in a film (Will was always my favourite in the Secret Life Of Us) but not something I'd go out of my way to see again.
Oh, and Northampton is not 'up north' but only a tiny way out of London!!).
