Review of Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) by Randy Y — 28 Aug 2015

Man, Matthew Vaughn is on such a roll lately and this is another great action film. Kingsman is some of the most fun I've had watching a movie in a while. The film has great action scenes, smart humor, good acting, cool effects, and a solid cast.

The film reminded me of Kick-Ass, but for a spy film instead of superheroes. There is one really cool scene has 3/4 of the way through the film and it will probably be one of my favorite sequences of 2014.

The entire cast is perfect in their roles and I was nervous about having one of the main leads be a new actor, but he did a great job as well. Overall, I really loved this fun film that put a twist on the usual action spy thriller.

Now I just hope they don't ruin it with a bad sequel like Kick-Ass.
