No, not more "badass than Bond" but appreciate the Bond homage. Actually would have worked better as a Bond prequel. Storyline ending went too far for "oh shit" moments as it finished with a more Cody Banks feel rather than James Bond.
Caine, Jackson, and especially Firth give the film credibility. But entertaining overall.
