Review of Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) by Tom B — 07 Feb 2016
Wasn't expecting to enjoy this because the trailers made it look like a children's movie. I was surprised when the film stared with a wild amount of profanity and later contained a scene that may hold the world record for most individual on-screen fatalities within a three minute time period.
Although, very unoriginal in character development and an "assumption theme" that's very stereotypical for a film such as this; things take a turn in the right direction when Samuel L Jackson's diabolical plan for world domination is divulged.
This isn't a blockbuster action movie, but rides the line between silly and serious - leaning more towards serious during the second half - and in my opinion, less boring than the latest 007 and Mission Impossible movies.
