Review of Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) by Tatsuhito K — 12 Sep 2017
Although there are a couple of missteps that are morally reprehensible and the punchline is downright tasteless, "Kingsman: The Secret Service" is really good fun for the most part. Packed with likable characters, cheeky humor, and enormously entertaining action set-pieces, the film not only pays homage to old-school spy movies from the past, but also stands on its own as a unique spy thriller with class and blood.
Solid and fun performances across the board and I love Matthew Vaughn's visual style. Again, it has its problems, but I always have a good time watching the film.
