Review of Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) by Glenn S — 21 Dec 2017

I liked this movie up to the very end, where it inserted a cheeky sexual innuendo that just seemed unnecessary, unflattering to the actors, and distanced me as a female viewer. A female character who was otherwise interesting and strong up through the story shouldn't need to trade sex to be rescued by a Kingsman.

I'd really liked the action, imagination, and innovation up to that point. I'll watch the next, but I'll also watch for how they include or exclude me as their audience.
