This is very nearly a great film, its hyper-stylized heightening of the genre can be extremely entertaining. Colin Firth is excellent and Sam Jackson and Sofia Boutella make a delightful duo. That being said, there are some beats that fall flat on their face and the film drags hard in it's exposition.
This is a great concept for a film, and I think was very well produced and directed, it just suffers from an inconsistent and misplaced script.
