Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Spacebear1 — 11 Dec 2017
Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Golden Circle is a great sequel that just can't live up to the first film. Don't get me wrong, the stylized action sequences and the characters are still great. The characters are constantly more fleshed out in this film.
There are quite a few new characters in this film but my favorite one of them is easily Pedro Pascal's Agent Whiskey. However, this film suffers from an absurdly long runtime and a not so great villain, Poppy.
In the end, this IS a great film, but it just doesn't have quite as much as originality as the first film. My rating is 7.
