Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Moviemitch96 — 17 Oct 2017
I know I'm a little late getting around to this one, and I'm probably just going to be echoing the general consensus from most people's opinion's on this one when I say that it's still got the wild, entertaining, and frenetic style that made the first a blast to watch, but it lacks a unique or compelling story, and felt quite dragged out at nearly two-and-a-half hours.
On the flipside, the cast has fun with the film, just as they did with the first one, with Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, and Mark Strong reprising their roles from the first and doing what they do best.
Even the new additions to cast, such as Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, and even Sir Elton John, made it pretty fun and worthwhile as well. Overall, it doesn't have as unique or compelling of a story to tell this time around, which makes the two-and-a-half hour runtime a bit of a chore to sit through at times, but with enough fun moments throughout, as well as a satisfying and enjoyable final half hour or so, it's worth checking out if you enjoyed the first film.
