Kingsman: The Golden Circle is stuck in the trap of trying to outdo the original. The over-the-top action, ridiculous characters, and impossible sci-fi gadgets are all pushed past the threshold of fun and cheeky and into of ridiculous self-parody.
I feel like the writers tried so hard to outdo themselves that they completely missed the mark.
