Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Jack97 — 29 Sep 2017

Kingsman 2 is a step down from the first film with numerous elements that bog it down. Poppy was a weak villain, the lack of advertised Statesmen (Channing Tatum especially) the added subplots involving Eggsy's girlfriend and Harry's return/recovery added nothing in terms of emotion or weight to the story and the action scenes that rely on special effects are unfortunately very noticeable.

Besides these issues, Kingsman: The Golden Circle is still a reasonable entertaining film in it's own right. It just doesn't come close to replicating the wild ride of the first film.
