Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Igor K — 16 Oct 2017
Where to begin?! Save yourself the bother, this sequel is only worth the clips of Julianne Moore's acting. Halle Barry keeps her clothes on up the neck during the entire movie, and besides a quick shirtless sneak at Taron Egarton, so does everyone else.
the movie feels like it drags, the story seems like it was edited and re-edited and still the movie feels too long. Sub-plots are explored that should not have been, and characters are killed off on mass without much to with the story.
Fight scenes no longer offer that POW! of the first film. The editing was rough on some parts, for a movie of such a budget that should not have been a problem. Long story short (don't want to drag this out like the Kingsman did), no amount of screen time for Elton John will fix the weaknesses of this sequel.
