Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Emma G — 25 Sep 2017

The first one was one of my absolute favourite movies, so I was like a little kid waiting for Christmas before watching this movie. Even though I still went in with no expectations because I did not want to be disappointed. The very first scene was a good start, it set the mood and got you into the universe after almost 3 years. The film lacked a story as good as the first. I didn't care about the public like I did in the first and it didn't feel like more of a risk going after Poppy like Valentine did. The new characters weren't properly developed except for Whiskey. The characters didn't feel as good and neither did the endings of som characters. The fighting scenes were amazing and possibly even better than from the first movie. They took what was enjoyable and good in the first movie and did it even more in the second, they took what fans loved and made it better.

Overall it is a very good sequel. You don't always expect glory from sequels, but this one succeeded very well in my opinion.
