Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Barry B — 23 Sep 2017
After creating a radical new genre in the done to death "Spy" films, Kingsman -2 falls flat on its face. There is no humour, there is no spying, there is a little action that seems to have been patched together by the stunt crew in their spare time from other movies.
Taron Egerton who was entertaining in the first film, is completely boring. Colin Firth is almost non-existent. And why Channing Tatum even agreed to be in the movie is baffling to say the least. The only performance worth mentioning in the movie comes from Mark Strong.
If you have nothing better to do with 2.50 hours of your life, go to the movie.
