Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Cade F — 24 Sep 2017

I loved the film. It wasn't the first film but then, no sequel ever is because all the original magic is revealed. Sequels are about the continuation so all the reviews about this being flat are ridiculous. Those reviewers put the movie (and probably every other sequel) to standards they can't possibly meet.

So, the pros.

- lots of action right from the start.

- great humor.

- a creepy villainess.

Cons.

- the premise felt a little bit like the first movies premise.

- one 'sex' scene that could have been shot differently and made this movie more family friendly.

- some characters from the first movie killed off.

So who this movie is for:

- fans of James Bond or other spy action films.

- fans of the first film.

Who won't like this film.

- people who hate action films.

- people who don't like a little non-PC humor.

Bottom line...is it for everybody? No movie ever is. But it was a lot of fun and after reading the reviews I was expecting a real let down. Turns out the only let down is pretentious reviewers who knocked the movie and are probably really dull people anyway.
