Where to begin? Kings falls flat with it's characters, whose motivations are completely unexplained, and the characters themselves are archetypes and cliches with no real attachment to the world around them.

Where Kings excels, however, is in it's tone, chaotic pacing, and beautiful cinematography. It really captures the powder keg of hatred in LA and the riots quite well. However, the ending of the movie is so atrocious that I will probably never watch it again.

I must give credit where credit is due, however.
