Review of Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by Satchmo G — 26 Feb 2012

I watched the directors cut and found the movie spectacular. I also watched it in theaters and hated it. Perhaps manipulation of the film proved to be the difference. Either way, it is a powerful statement against religious fanaticism and extremism on all sides of the religious spectrum.

Excellent set pieces, believable characters, and thoughtful subject matter all made this movie reverberate in my brain for weeks after consumption.
