Not nearly as good as I'd hoped it to be. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I'd watched the theatrical version - the Director's Cut is overlong and plodding. The battle scenes are wonderful.
The rest of the movie, not so much. We are not made to care about the characters, and the politics are a bit confusing. You've really got to pay attention to stay focused on the plot, and I didn't find it intruiging enough to do so.
