Review of Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by Amos S — 26 Sep 2011
The Directors Cut fixes what was originally a flawed and thin epic. Historical accuracy aside there's a feeling to this movie that makes it feel divine, something that makes it feel slightly more epic considering the subject matter.
But it doesn't need historical accuracy to be part essay on religion and Heaven has a diverse message in the subject. Thus this remains one of Ridley Scott's most underrated and best films.
