Review of Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by Thomas L — 10 Dec 2011
I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive going in to this movie, after hearing such mixed reviews. However, by the end, this movie was firmly in among some of my favourites, if not for the fact that it perfectly showcases religions just trying to prove who has the biggest cock.
Aside from that, the exteriors were breath-taking, the cinematography amazing, and this film pulled off one of the most amazing siege scenes I have ever seen. Yes, at 3 hours long, some might find it difficult to stay interested, but I do not think I was bored during a single minute.
Fantastic movie, brilliant performances from the whole cast, and really just an amazing story about a man who chose to fight for people, not some mythical being.
