Ridley Scott's Crusader spectacle was incredibly made but excessively long and far too much graphic violence and gore... Although none too many of Scott's film are for the faint-of-stomach or children.
The Siege of Jerusalem climax was otherwise very well done. Great all-star cast. This movie gets high marks from me BUT you may wish to watch it on broadcast TV where the blood-and-guts factor is (a little) toned-down.
