Review of Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by Nate G — 12 Apr 2012

This movie begins with promise, but eventually tapers off into boring oblivion. Orlando Bloom was simply not fit to shoulder the load of a movie this long, hence the lack of lines. Visually it was obviously good, and the battle scenes were generally pretty impressive.

Too much of the story was drawn out too much without any real connection with the audience though, and that ultimately is what lead to my boredom. Overall the acting was pretty good though, if you remove Bloom from the equation.

It's worth a watch, but not with preconceived notions of anything great.
