A brutal strong gritty drama that tells the story of the Crusades with brilliant flair. Ridley Scott has once again mastered the historical epic genre in this fabulous War movie with compelling battle scenes, stunning visuals and great performances from all it's star-studded cast even if it lacks the standard of spectacle achieved in Gladiator.
A story told in such detail it's hard to forget. Unmissable entertainment.
