Review of King Ralph (1991) by James M — 23 May 2010
John Goodman stars in this comedy as Ralph, a casino piano player and a bit of a slob from American who is a living heir to the ruling family of the U.K.,the House of Wyndham, and has now been named the King of England.
Ralph does things his own way as King and cannot seem to get a grip on the ways of royalty. He then meets a girl named Miranda who is hired by Lord Percival Graves to embarrass Ralph and have him leave his throne.
Ralph must try and stop an arranged marriage to Princess Anna of Finland, stop Graves, and find a way to stay with Miranda in this laugh out loud comedy of royalty.
