Review of King of the Travellers (2013) by Leon B — 26 Aug 2016
As a child, a young man by the name of John-Paul Moorehouse witnessed his father get shot by a gang of thugs, who were driving by in a car. John wakes up as he is just after having a nightmare of his father's killing. John is man who is a former boxer, he could have went to the Olympics, and turned pro, as the way he explains it in the movie. His uncle on the other side, Francis tries too hard to keep his name above in the family: He tries to control John by talking him out of doing certain things. He wants everything to be his way, not someone else's. He seems like that person who would plan something, and think his plan is going to work but it backfires. There is another antagonist in the movie, Mickie "the bags", he is the only very close friend that John has. He picks up a fight, and doesn't care sees. He's a loose cannon. But he has a heart, and wants the best for John.
